Hey everyone! I recently graduated from a nursing program in Ontario and have decided that I want to write the MCAT this August. The problem is that my nursing program barely covered any of the prerequisite courses that are important for the MCAT - I have two sems of psych/soc, one sem of human biochemistry, and perhaps some physiology- and microbiology-related stuff covered by a couple of my other classes. But I have zero chem, organic chem and physics prereqs. I really can’t afford to take these courses and am hoping I can self study this info with Khan Academy and Kaplan. Just wonderin

Hey guys, I wrote the MCAT this year, and I got a pretty pathetic score. I got 122/125/121/124 CARS was 125. I will have to re-write the MCAT - will most likely do it in August of next year; I have school right now full-course load. I really need some help with this. I have 1 year; including courses in the fall//winter. For the summer, I will be completely free and can just focus on the MCAT. What should I do to get from this low score to a solid 128+ on all sections. Please help me, I really want to do well; and my GPA and EC's are pretty decent/good; and I am just struggling on

Hi folks, Here I go I am just putting this out there...hope one of you can provide some realistic advice. I am looking to write the August 25 MCAT this year. I started studying a few months ago, but I work full time and it hasn't gone as well as I have hoped. I wrote my first practice exam last month and it went terribly! I am wondering if you think it is realistic for me to achieve a competitive score by the Aug MCAT if I buckle down and study for a few hours every weeknight after work and more on the weekends? Would love to hear any advice you could provide. Thanks

Hey everyone, I'm looking for people in the Durham region that are searching for study partners for the MCAT. I'm located around Bowmanville (east Oshawa) but I can travel north Peterborough or west to UTSC, or anywhere in between. I'm looking to write in the spring and start studying ASAP, but I'm flexible. Please contact me if you are interested!
