Hello everyone, Please allow me to introduce myself. I am an Alberta university student of African descent, and I am obviously as seen with my post interested in applying to pharmacy. I am currently completing my third year of studies in Biological Sciences and I am just wondering out of curiosity what the racial demographics of the U of A pharmacy school are? For instance, have the incoming classes been predominantly white, are there black students, are there Asian students, etc.? Hi All, How does one most effectively finance Dental school expenses (tuition+living). From what I have read so far it seems that people are taking out LOCs. Although banks generally offer lower rates on LOCs vs traditional loans, I still feel that it may be very difficult to pay off the ever-increasing monhtly compounded interest. Are there other forms of financial aid that one can apply to (e.g. government loans/bursaries)? Any advice is appreciated

Hi there, I am a Medical Student writing on behalf of my sister who completed a B.Sc. in Biopharmaceutical Sciences at U of Ottawa and is applying to Pharmacy schools. It is very very competitive in Canada, and other than an interview at UofT, she is not having any luck getting in. She got accepted to MCPHS or Mass Pharm in Boston and it has a good reputation. The problem however is tuition. The cost of Tuition is 75-80 000 per year. The second problem is that they are asking her to do a 5 year program.
