Forum for anyone applying to McGill Dentistry 2021 :)

Bonjour! Merci

I'm finishing my BComm in marketing this academic year and am planning on taking all mcat/med school prereqs the following year. I am considering completing these courses at cegep level— reason being that my current university tends to split up the lab and theory component of a class to be taken in separate semesters plus the level of difficulty is likely greater at university level. I know a few med students who obtained bachelors in degrees outside of science, went back to cegep to complete their prereqs and ended up attending Montreal-based medical schools (i know McGill, University of Mont

Does anyone know what the minimum competitive GPA is to get into University of Montreal's Optometry school is? Their website only has the latest year's R-scores. I am a university student who will have more than 60 credits at time of application so my R-score won't count anymore, therefore I'd like an idea of what my GPA should range around! Thanks!

But now i'm reading what you guys wrote here and i'm lost.. haha can i just do my pre-requires and apply as an undergrad at Uottawa? Or do I have to go get a BAC frst? thanks

Merci d'avance!

Hi, I am currently in CEGEP. Long story short I did a Tremplin DEC ( two semesters) before getting into Health Sciences. I am now decided that Dentistry is my main goal.. however, I'm really concerned about whether I should: Go to university in english (my mother tongue is french and I'm also attending a french cegep) If so, which is university ( Concordia or Mcgill) is better if I do a science/med oriented undergrad program in order to get into dental school What major should I take? This is really my main concern because I wanna chose a good major where I feel like I c
