I was wondering if anybody has already contacted potential med schools in Canada and has asked about non-degree courses? I have finished my undergraduate degree and considering taking a year to take some non-degree courses to boost my gpa. However it seems that medical schools either don’t mention this topic on their website or are a bit unclear in terms of their wording (ex. McMaster). I would really appreciate any help/clarification on this topic!!!
Any insight on non-degree/special years? I am thinking of doing this to boost GPA at UofT and Queens. Anyone else done this? what the easiest way to guarantee 4.0? I've spent too long in academically rigorous programs, resulting in a GPA that does not convey my abilities. Starting to think this is my only option. Online? Guelph? Queens? Mac? York? Calgary? UBC? Open to all brainstorming/suggestions.
