Hello everyone, Anyone willing to review my OMSAS ABS & UofT Essays (BPEs & ABS statements)? An accepted/interviewed UofT applicant is preferred, but I would be grateful if anyone else can too! Thanks

Hello, I just finished my CV for 2019-2020 Application and I was wondering if anyone experienced with what McGill is looking for and the McGill CV format would be available to review my CV and give me some tips/insights. Reply and I can DM you! I appreciate it! Thanks

Hello, I'm thinking of signing up with either Kaplan or TPR to help me with my application process and interview process. I made the mistake of just taking a prep course with Kaplan without doing my research on which would be the best company to go with for MCAT prep so I don't want to repeat my mistake. Has anyone done the application help services with either company, or another company? Would you say it was worth the 1.5K? Were they helpful at all? Are there any guarantees? Which company would you recommend if not Kaplan or TPR or Prep101? Thanks! Dee

A lot of prep companies advertise services to review your applications for med school. Typically, the price that these companies charge for a 1 hour session can run above $100. However, the service that I'm offering to review + help brainstorm your application for medical school is much more reasonably priced. For only $50/hr, which is half (or even less than half) of the typical price you can expect to pay for a typical application review, you can have an experienced applicant evaluate your application and tailor feedback according to your profile. My qualifications: 4/6 interviews last

Hello, I would like to have your opinion on the differences between the content and presentation/passage type between the prep books for the old MCAT and those for the new MCAT. More specifically, I just ordered a used 8th version (the last one for the old MCAT, I think) of physics Examkrackers for 5x cheaper than the new. Considering that I have a background in engineering, I just wanted a very quick refresh of the important concepts, and I figured that the version didn't matter much. I ordered the new Berkeley Review for biology, chemistry and biochemistry along with the new Princet

Hello everyone, I am training to become an Academic Advisor to sit on the admission committee at the University of Toronto. I understand that the deadline to submit the OMSAS application is in about 10 days. If any of you have not submitted yet (which I highly recommend you do so ASAP), then you can message me your essays and I can look it over. Of course, I can’t write anything for you, but I can point out errors, unclear/awkward phrasing, and provide comments for improvement. Don’t worry, there is no charge. I am doing this for my personal training. Good luck to all. Eric

Hi All, due to a miscommunication I have received the 2016 "7-book Subject Review, Lesson Book, and High-Yield Problem Solving Guide" from Kaplan. They are brand new, I haven't even opened the box they were shipped in. Looking to sell them for $150 OBO. I am in Calgary and it's pickup only!

Hello everyone, I was wondering what you guys personally thought were the best review material for the MCAT. I'm looking at either the Kaplan or TPR sets for the new test. Which has in the past been better review in your opinion, and why? If anyone has gotten the new set(s) do you like them, why or why not? Thanks for your input

I was wondering if anyone here had any input on either of these two companies when it comes to their MCAT prep courses. I'm aiming to take the MCAT this summer and both are running courses in my area during May/June/July. Upon a quick scan of their respective websites, there doesn't seem to be that much difference between the two. Both will cost me upwards of $2000 with tax, both have classes in the evening should I have a conflict and both include over 100 in-class hours. But is there something about one or the other that I should know about before I invest the two grand?
