We are seeking to rent to a medical resident or professional who is working at one of the hospitals located nearby (Victoria and Parkwood are the closest), who needs a short-term place to stay. Our lease timeframe is negotiable. Rent is all-inclusive and the apartment is furnished. Location: Located just steps from the city transit bus stops/system on Wellington. The apartment is very close to Victoria Hospital (1.4km / 18 minute walk / 7 minute bus ride), 2.3km from Parkwood, an 18 minute bus ride (4.4km) to St. Joseph's Health Care, a 24 minute bus ride (6.6km) to University Hospital, and a 5 minute drive to downtown London. It is located very central to all major amenities (groceries, drugstore/pharmacy, restaurants, shopping, theatres), and metres away from the city's park pathway system—the Thames Valley Parkway. The Rental Unit: Renovations have been completed (Fall 2019) to make the apartment compliant with the City of London's building code & fire code regulations. The result is a very safe and quiet apartment that is a licensed rental in the City of London. The bathroom was gutted and fully renovated in December 2020. The apartment is fully private, located in the basement/backside of the house. The landlords (married couple, no kids) live in the other part of the house, taking care of all maintenance. About the Space: This is a ‘walk-out basement' apartment which means it has large windows that look out to the backyard (landscaped, mature trees, birds, rabbits).
