Hey guys, I just had a quick question regarding the PAT section for the CDAT. I'm writing the CDAT this November, and I noticed that in the preparation manual that they gave me this year, in the answer key for the PAT section (page 127) it says that "as part of the testing methodology, there are 15 questions on the Perceptual Ability Test that are not scored." I've written the DAT before and I've looked back at my old preparation manual and this isn't written in the the back in previous years. Does anyone know if this is something new? Does this mean you automatically get 15 que

Hi, I am a Canadian, and I am contemplating whether or not to rewrite the MCAT to apply to American schools. My overall MCAT score is 512 (87th percentile) The issue is that I don't know how much US schools care about overall score vs. individual sections. I have a 123 in one section, but 128/130/131 in the others! I also have a 4.0 GPA or close to. But My main question is about the subsection vs. overall score because in Canada individual sections are super important Some feedback would be appreciated!

Hi everyone, I was just curious; I know as well as the next Pre-Med student that a stellar MCAT score is a must if you even want to be taken seriously by the admissions offices. I was just wondering, even though many Canadian schools take the most recent MCAT score (and US schools...? do they do this too, forgive me as I have not looked into their analysis of the test yet) does it reflect poorly on you in any way, if you have a very poor MCAT score in one of you two or more attempts? Also, do they even attempt to look at an increase in performance if you attempt it more than once?

I was wondering if we could gather together the average for New Brunswick applicants over the years to see whether it has remained rather constant. Last year my letter indicated the average score was as follows: MCAT: average 30 (8/10) GPA: average 3.8/4.0 (13/15) Supplementary/Essay/Discretionary 22/35 Interview: average 33/40 Total Score: 76 My score was 60.84 because my interview score was awful. I am hoping I can move my interview score up this time but I worry that the average score may increase, has it been around this score in the past?

Hi guys, This may be a bit of a dumb question, but as its my first year applying I want to be sure that I've released my mcat score to OMSAS correctly. Right not on my application it says that the scores are 'pending', but I released them Sept 9th. Does it usually take this long for them to receive the scores? Thanks in advance

Hello, I've gotten numerous messages on this topic and it's tough to reply to all of you (I want to, but I just can't, sorry!) Most of them are on the issue of NAQ score and how to improve them. To give a little context, I got rejected last year by UBC as an OOP, but I made the IP cut-off despite an average GPA and MCAT: GPA: 82.88 MCAT: 30 ECs: Lots of research, community work, and leadership AQ: 21.49 NAQ: 33.70 TFR: 55.19 I got a lot of messages as soon as I posted my stats asking what I wrote for my ECs and how I wrote them. Here are a few tips for you guys applying this

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew more specifics about how the applicants are assessed at Memorial? They are very vague in describing it on the site. Roughly, how important are the various aspects, such as the TaMMI, mcat, gpa, and the essay stuff in the application. Thanks!!!

I'm new to this whole thing and I wrote the DAT in November just to see how it would be. I've been reading/hearing conflicting opinions on this and I figured the predent community here would be up to speed with this... My scores were: AA19, PAT20, and RC20 Should I rewrite or is this considered competitive? Thanks in advance for the insight!
