Hi there! I'm entering the application cycle for another round (3rd time: 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021 cycles) Could you let me know your thoughts on my stats and likelihood for Canadian schools (Queens, Mac, UofT and Ottawa), McGill, UBC, Dal and Memorial I'm currently in my MSc (year 2) cGPA (undergrad): 3.94 (Year 1: 3.82, Year 2: 4.0, Year 3: 4.0 – finished my 4-year Hons BSc degree at the University of Toronto in 3 years: Double Major Biology and Gender Studies) MCAT (2nd attempt): 510 (127/127/126/130 – 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 cycles) (1st attempt: 506 – 2018-2019
I just noticed on the OMSAS guide that applicants must be completed or on the last year of their bachelor's. Does that mean that someone can't apply in the summer between second and third year? is this the case for other universities as well?
All my marks have been fine so far from A- to A+ for first year, but I got a B+ in one of my half year courses, and I know it's not the end of the world, but it has been bothering me, and I'm a little worried!! As long as I do much better in my second year, I just hope I still have a good chance of applying to med in third year, assuming my other stuff like MCAT and EC's is good? I don't know exactly what my current GPA is but I'm predicting for OMSAS it's going to be about 3.8?? I would appreciate it if I could hear about some of your experiences as third year applicants, like what the GPA ex
