  1. Hello everything, I know this is overkill at this point because everyone asks but I have a general question about TPR (2nd edition) vs Kaplan (2018-2019). I've been reading a lot of conflicting information regarding which mcat book set has a higher level of detail. Some say Kaplan has more information while others say TPR has more information. Can anyone shed some light on this issue for me please. Does one book set indeed contain more info than the other or does it depend on the specific subject. If so, any insight would be greatly appreciated. I am not worried about an overkill of info
  2. Hello, I'm thinking of signing up with either Kaplan or TPR to help me with my application process and interview process. I made the mistake of just taking a prep course with Kaplan without doing my research on which would be the best company to go with for MCAT prep so I don't want to repeat my mistake. Has anyone done the application help services with either company, or another company? Would you say it was worth the 1.5K? Were they helpful at all? Are there any guarantees? Which company would you recommend if not Kaplan or TPR or Prep101? Thanks! Dee
  3. Hey everyone! I plan on writing the MCAT in August 2016. I plan on not working at all between the end of April-August. I would ideally be studying for minimum 5 hours everyday. The plan right now is 8 hours of study/day. I have read tons of different posts about how/what to study for the MCAT. From what I've read, here's is what I thought I would do (by all means, correct me if you disagree - I'd appreciate any advice) : 1) Kaplan MCAT Complete 7-Book Subject Review. - I would review the entire content of these books first. I heard that these books are very detailed, so this woul
  4. Hey, I'm entering my 2nd year UG at Western's BMSc. I'm planning on writing my MCAT next summer (after 2nd year). 1. I was planning on "lowkey" studying this school year, basically reading through a set of prep books while studying for classes, finding connections with the material I'm learning. I was also planning on going through the Khan Academy videos over the course of the school year. Then I was planning on using a separate set of books + doing a prep course for the summer. How does this sound? 2. Re: the 1st question. I was thinking of going with Kaplan & EK but am willing
  5. Hi guys! What is the best studying material for the new MCAT 2015? I'd appreciate any kind of input - especially from those who have written the test! THANKS!
  6. I'm planning on taking the MCAT this summer. In addition to a prep course I was planning on purchasing a set of Review/Prep books. From what I've gathered, the predominant MCAT prep book companies to have published their 2015 editions are as follows: The Princeton Review: Princeton Review MCAT Subject Review Complete Set: New for MCAT 2015 ($143.57) Kaplan: Kaplan MCAT Complete 7-Book Subject Review: Created for MCAT 2015 ($163.01) Examkrackers: Examkrackers Complete MCAT Study Package (9th Edition) ($274.94) The Berkeley Review hasn't released any 2015 material yet as far as I
  7. Hey premeds, I've decided to take the test in the next spring so i'll be taking the new MCAT, call me stupid or ignorant, but I completly forgot about what books I would be using for the 2015 MCAT. Since there are not many reviews by the buyers of the Books available, I want to ask you guys your views. Since i'm a Princeton review fanguy(I used it for my SATs and I got a 2150 in just 3 months of preperation), i'd like to go with princeton review but i've heard there hasn't been much editing to the common syllabi of the old and new MCATs. Also i've heard that new kaplan has quite a few errors

Everything is in perfect condition, with some pencil writing in some books. TPR includes Physics Review, Biology Review, Gen Chem Review, Orgo Review and Verbal Reasoning Review. Asking price: $150. All books in near-perfect condition. Minimal writing. MSG if interested! - See
