Hello, I am starting my PharmD program in September 2021 while also reapplying for medical school this year. I am confused if whether or not I would include this in my application? On page 22 of the application guide it says "Courses from September 2021 to April 2022: Enter the courses you plan to take and leave the “Completed” checkbox unchecked. You can take different courses later without notifying us, with two exceptions: • If you change your mind about which English course you will take, you must message us to tell us the new course name, number, and institution. • If you are completing 90 credits and change your courses after you apply, please message us with your new courses. If your 2020/2021 courses are at a new institution (an institution you have not started attending yet, so you can’t submit a transcript), please message us so we can change the transcript status for this institution to “Not Yet Required.” Does anyone have experience with starting a new degree while applying, and if the new degree was included? Thank you!

Hi all, I went on exchange and my host university currently is not issuing transcripts because the registrar’s office is closed. They also don’t have an e-transcript system set up. They said all they can offer is a screenshot of my grades to be sent via email. Any idea if OMSAS will be likely to accept this? Also, I currently have 28 Canadian university credits, just shy of the required 30. By the end of the year I should have more than the required 30 though. Does anyone know if I need my exchange grades evaluated by WES for McMaster? They say you need it if you don’t meet the minimum course number, but I’m not sure if they mean “if you don’t meet it by May of the year of entry” or at the time of the application. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there, I'm in a unique academic situation ... A couple of years ago when I attended Ontario Tech University (formally known as UOIT), I had some low grades permanently removed from my academic record (I know it sounds improbable, but it's true; special circumstances permitted it). My cGPA increased after it was recalculated and then I transferred to Laurier where I am finishing my undergrad. My question is... since I had grades wiped from my record, would those grades by any chance show up when my cGPA is calculated by medical school admissions? The removed classes no longer appear on my official transcript but some of them were prereq classes for the upper year courses that still remain. Would admissions look at the specific classes or just the grades? Because I don't want them to think my transcript was doctored in anyway.

Hi, I noticed that some of my transcripts indicate "yes" to them having been verified. Do any of you know if we will get to see the cGPA or grades they enter manually so that we can verify whether the data was inputted without any errors? Thank you

Final Grade Requirements if Accepted
Galaxy123 posted a topic in General Ontario Discussions (OMSAS)
hey everyone! wondering if anyone has any insight on what grades or averages are required by any of the ontario schools for the final semester of undergrad. I see that final transcripts aren't required until June 30th, so does that mean that this semester of grades doesn't really count? I'm wondering if there is a minimum that must be achieved to keep acceptance? I've looked but I don't see any specifics. Appreciate any info! -
