So hello premed101! I have been lurking in this forum for quite some time and decided to make an account now that I have gotten accepted into a neuroscience program into ulethbridge for Fall 2021. I was wondering if this program is good to take? I am still waiting on admission updates from U of C or from MRU and Lethbridge was the quickest to accept me so far. I have no clue as to how to prepare to be premed so I am quite in a pickle as of now. I have also seen that ulethbridge also have a pre-proffessional transfer into medicine so I am also wondering if anybody have experience with that sor

Good day, I hope everyone is doing well. So I have asked about this in another Forum (under the similar username of this Premed101 account) and did get some positive replies from medical students and current undergraduate students. But I'm still facing the dilemma, so someone told me to post here in Premed101 to get more responses in order to make my decision. Is there any major advantage to taking an undergraduate degree in biology or medical sciences for applying to med school? Because they say they want all-rounded students but would taking a medical related undergraduate help for the MCAT? Thanks!

Hi, I'm still in high school and I'm looking at which "premed" program to apply to next year that focuses on preparing students for medicine. I know that any program is good as long as you can get a good GPA and high MCAT scores, but are they any specific programs (in Canada) that gear specifically towards premed? Thanks in advance!

Im doing biomedical sciences at York and I didn't do great during my first two years. Got a GPA of 2.7 in first year. Second year, first semester, I wasn't able to focus, sad all the time for no reason, i was lost and I withdrew from organic chemistry (also withdrew a course in first year), I'm doing bad in calculus (planning on dropping the course prior to the deadline and still attending classes so i can do better next time), I dropped two other courses; one by early september and the other by November. I plan on changing my second semester of 2nd year, i even looked at how to study effectiv
