Hi! I'm planning on going into OT. However, every OT I come across has done their schooling abroad. Has anyone done theirs in Canada and is willing to share the process? PT seems to have more descriptive and consistent requirements. What is the GPA cut off, do your EC's matter? And how many schools did you apply to and where was your undergrad done? Thanks in advance
Hey all! We've been seeing a lot of requests to start the facebook group for those of you who have been accepted to the University of Toronto Dentistry class of 2023. So here it is, the official link to the group! First off, congratulations on your acceptance! You've made it! We are so happy to welcome you all to the family and are stoked to meet you. You have an exciting 4 years ahead of you, and we're here to guide you along the way. Feel free to post any questions in this thread, or even in the FB group itself. We will try to get back to you on here ASAP and check periodically, but you will likely get a quicker response from us on FB. Link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/267667354174311/ Cheers! I'm currently in my undergrad at the University of Toronto which offers a service called "Credit/No Credit", it essentially acts the same way as Pass/Fail in some other universities. Basically, if you select "Credit/No Credit" for a course, your mark for the course will not be recorded on your academic record and you will receive the credit for the course, contingent on the fact that you pass the course. I have done some research and they recommend not doing it for a course that is a requirement for graduate schools but mentions nothing of medical schools. I have researched but found nothing on medical schools' views on selecting "Credit/No Credit". Do you think medical schools will frown upon it?
