Chances for an OOP??

I'm an Albertan resident and am wondering which schools are worth applying to as an OOP applicant. Graduated with B. Sc., no graduate degree.

cGPA (for all schools) 4.00

MCAT: 514 (129/126/129/130)

Decent ECs, mostly community and athletic involvement over academia and research though.

I know for sure not NOSM and I think McMaster prefers Ontario residents over OOP too? Ottawa and Toronto for sure I'm thinking but wondering if Queens/Western are worth applying to with a poor CARS of 126?

With that GPA every school is worth a shot. Given your "low" CARS score, your best chances are at UofT and Ottawa. Since all Ontario schools use OMSAS, might as well apply to all of them.

 

Your best shot will be at IP schools.

I don’t think you make the Western CARS cutoff, but you may make the Queens CARS cutoff. So definitely add Queens to your list.
