bananabread1212
Hi everyone! Can someone who has gotten in/is knowledgable please help me out! I just emailed my referees and they have agreed to write a letter for me. Question is, what information should i give them to ensure a strong letter? I was thinking my transcript for sure, but what else can I send them? Thank you so much!
PAAT
well I am applying this cycle for the first time. I suggest sending your resume as well. Also if you can make an appointment and discuss what medical schools are looking for in letters.
rmorelan
plus if your referee hasn't done this before you probably need to do a good job of couching them as to what a great LOR even is for medical school. That isn't a easy thing to do if you haven't done it before. There are online resources, the CAN Med roles are a great guide to start with.
