fgh
Hi, I'm a non-life sciences student thinking of medical school 1. How is work experience seen by the adcom? I have quite extensive internship/extracurricular involvement experience, some even related to healthcare. Will the adcom look on in the same vein as EC involvement? Kind of worried about not having any "typical premed" involvement though I still did a bunch of stuff in undergrad. 2. How are half-completed year-long courses treated in the admissions GPA? If one of my classes next year is a D1/D2 type class, is there a way to transmit my grade from the first half of the course onto my GPA when I apply next year? I assume no but wanted to check. Thanks
Bambi
Regarding No. 1, you want to demonstrate CanMEDS competencies regardless of where they come from. Don’t be worried.
