I'm trying to decide whether I should take Engl 211, Engl 212, Engl 255, or some other accepted course? I don't excel in English and find essay writing to be stressful, so I would prefer to take the English course with the least amount of composition if possible. Both manageable, but 255 was definitely the harder of the 2 with far more subjective marking. 255 also had more essays and writing, whereas 211 was more reading and analysis.
