First week of classes ?

How much do we cover? 

Looking at doing a quick weekend getaway down south for fri-sun. Feasible with first week workload?

You really won't know until you get your schedule. There may be some mandatory classes/orientation on the Friday if you were planning on leaving early. There are also likely social events happening after the first weekend which you may not want to miss. Regarding actual course content it'll  not be significant yet !

Yes feasible. Class usually ends after 12 on Friday. Don't sue me if you book and you have something mandatory tho (although I don't remember there being any mandatory classes that week).

Can confirm that those DILs pile up. I remember I took the first weekend off because I figured work-life balance and all that. I spent the rest of September trying to catch up on those HSF DILs.
