I've had a job in Public Health Toronto and several labs, but I'm not sure where exactly to look for jobs that are relevant to healthcare. Location is super flexible, but we will be in Vancouver. avocado_toast Posted July 7, 2019 Report Share Posted July 7, 2019 This may seem obvious but I would definitely look at the careers site for UBC (https://www.hr.ubc.ca/careers/). They will have clinical research jobs posted there and a lot of the medical research in the hospitals in Vancouver hires through UBC. Depending on your qualifications, you could try Vancouver Coastal Health (https://careers.vch.ca/how-to-apply/external-applicant/) - they mainly hire staff within the hospital (booking clerks, nurses, etc) so depending on your previous experience and education, you might find something there. There are a number of really cool biotech companies in Vancouver too, again it will depend on your education/experience and interest. I am also looking to relocate to B.C. and am wondering if you knew of some biotech companies in Vancouver/surrounding area that have reputations of being good employers. Thanks!
