medhopeful'17
Does anyone know if graduate level courses are assessed for admission into the UBC medicine program? I am currently in a thesis (research based) masters program and am only am required to complete a couple of courses. I am wondering if the grades I received in these courses are counted in my gpa calculation? I only took a couple each semester and therefore, they were not taken at a full course load. Also, one of them was a half-semester course. Is there a page on the UBC website that addresses this that I have no seen? Thanks in advance! If for some reason you think you have a lot fewer courses than other people in your program, you can write a brief justification in the app. But it’s common to just take a couple at a time in most thesis programs.
