In my second year, I went through some medical issues and had to drop most of my courses in the first semester. Due to this, in my 3rd year 5/10 of my courses were at the "300" level, and the other 5 were at the "200" level. I had to take those second year courses to achieve my lifesci minor, and my GPA last year was 3.98. This year (my 4th year) the majority of my courses are all 400+. My first year GPA is 3.69, so I can't use that year (by 0.1 point)! Will I not be able to apply to Western because of one stupid "300" level course that I couldn't take in my third year? If I contact them and explain my circumstances, would they be able to count my 3rd year as my "2nd" and my 4th year as my "3rd?" I am hoping so because my 2nd year will not count towards anything... but I doubt this will be the case. I'll probably have to do a 5th year... :(
