I feel like this long wait is so agonizing... 

I would like to really solidify planning my upcoming steps for the next cycle but don't want to commit to anything until after I know for sure I'm rejected... It really makes life so much harder. 

Hopefully, something comes out this week! It's been a dry few weeks since they've last sent invites. 

Best of luck to everyone - you're all such amazing applicants and if we don't get in this cycle, get disappointed (you have a right to, we put in a lot of work into this cycle), but remember to get up and try again. We got this.

Has anyone tried calling admissions to see what's happening? Have March 28/29 interviews already been sent out?

My question is why would they not reject people if they have gone through their application. Is there a reasoning to holding off the rejections?

They probably want a pool of competitive applicants they can call on to fill up last minute interview spots. 

I've tried calling, they haven't picked up the phone. U of T be straight up ghosting us. We don't hear from them in weeks, then when we try to contact them they leave us in the dark. Why u do dis.

No, but I would say if you don't get an invite by the end of next week your chances are very slim. Assuming they stay consistent.

my understanding is they don't care - just not a factor there.

last year i got my invite 19 days before my interview date - i feel like we should hear back by next monday at the very latest good or bad.

Ive applied 3 times already (4th time this year) and have been rejected during the large R wave. They've been sent out on March 13, 15, and 25, so we could be left hanging till even a few days before interviews. It sucks, but hang in there everyone!

The reason could be to send out two mass emails: rejections and invites.

Start solidifying your planning. Don't pass up on opportunities because of a potential interview. If worst comes to worst you can find a way to drop whatever you're doing and take that interview/acceptance. Look out for your own best interests.

Possibly to compare to applications they haven't gotten to yet since they have a finite number of interview spots.

I was hoping the process would happen a little earlier this year, considering the last interview date is March 29th as compared to April 7th last year... today???

Then, However by the same token, they shouldn't have rejected people above gpa and mcat cutoffs in January, which they did!

There are definitely way more people who haven't heard back than people who have. A huge wave must be coming. Maybe it will come today?

agreed! really hoping it’s today or tomorrow.

If the March 28 and 29th dates aren't filled yet, there are about 200 invites yet to go out. They interview about 100 people each day.

Basically, there is one more big wave of invites coming (I assume either today, or some time next week). If you aren’t in that wave, then chances become very slim after that.
