Is Mac waitlisting everyone? Haven't heard of a rejection

Seems like waitlist order isnt randomized:

Whyte notes that wait list for those who dont win the lottery will also be randomized - CBC article

In the event that applicants who were offered admission do not accept, we will make offers on a rolling basis, in rank order, to those on Wait List

I think that people who are rejected are less likely to post it right away than people who are accepted or waitlisted...

Did you not read their selection process; clearly states that everyone not top 100 is randomized into accept waitlist and REJECT

I got a Mac acceptance and good waitlist at Ottawa I will be turning those down assuming OMSAS UofT is legit

I believe that means in the order that was randomized by lottery. As in the lottery will give them #1 on waitlist, #2 on waitlist, etc.

2017-2018 cycle: Mac offered 316 applicants to fill 202 spots (114 waitlist movement). WL movement is random.

Doesn't seem like anyone got flat out rejected. Lots of people on the waitlist so I'm not gonna hold my breath. This is my 5th cycle, I've now finished my masters and spent a year working front line health care, just to lose out to a lottery. This one's gonna be tough to swallow.

I read it.. I also noticed that not a single R has been reported and tons of waitlists have so

That seems very confusing as the usual phrasing in previous years is the exact same and in that case it was the post-interview formula (70 MMI 15 CARS 15 GPA)

Yes, it seems like for all schools the offers are all uploaded at the same time

To clarify, I meant that once a certain school uploads to OMSAS they do all at the same time
