All the programs in Canada are hospital-based GPR programs. They are generally heavily medically oriented ie. OMFS, Oral Pathology. The best thing you can do is to contact program directors and ask them directly (which will also show interest in their program). Are you looking to specialize?

Sorry for the late response! I am currently not looking to specialise, just highly value the hospital based dental experience!

Ok fair enough. I would say you are better off in the USA. The programs are generally more well-rounded there vs Canada. Alternatively you can always apply to both Canada and the US, but keep in mind Canadian match is well before US match so if you match in Canada you must not rank US programs. It really all depends on what kind of experience you are looking for.
