MDanon123
Did anyone ever apply simultaneously to Med School and Dental school at UWO and UfT? Do you think it looks bad by the admission committee or has any negative impact on your application? I would appreciate it if someone has received done this in the past and would like to share their experience?
DentKoolKid
I did and I didn't get in UT med after interview so can't say for sure, but I don't think they negatively impact each other. They use different systems, and I personally know people who got into both MDanon123

Only advice I'd add is to make sure you'd be happy with either profession because you'll be committing a lot down the road. AncientDentist
Classmate of mine actually left dentistry for med after 1st year, so they must really not care... NWL@UWO
wowowo
If you are applying to american schools it is frowned upon. It means you don't know what you want to do. Dental school is hard, I'll recommend you go in knowing why you want to do it. That's the only thing that will motivate you when times get hard. MedAppHelp
It certainly wouldn't be fair if the two negatively impact one another, so that's probably not the case. I have friends who got in both UofT dent & med, and friends who got in both Western dent & med this year! NWL@UWO
BetterMidWins
I got into both this year. Departments don't overlap, they have separate admin. NWL@UWO and wloogoose

Wouldn’t your classmates’s dentistry GPA ruin his GPA for med?
