Canadian123
I know MUN has a holistic approach where they review everything together at once. Other schools do it in "stages/levels" where your GPA is first reviewed and if you don't meet the cut off you don't advance to the next "stage/level". What schools are more like MUN with reviewing everything as a whole?
gangliocytoma
Difficult to say because most schools don't publish their methods. McMaster has a pre-interview score that consists of MCAT CARS, GPA , and Casper score. That would be the most similar to what you're saying. bearded frog
Most schools don't actually work like that. Many will have a relatively low GPA/MCAT cut-off well below the levels realistically needed for acceptance. If you meed that cut off you will be ranked based on your GPA/MCAT/ECs/Casper/LORs/whatever else, its not really like everyone with X GPA then gets looked at mcat, then everyone with X mcat gets looked at for ECs, etc. zxcccxz
