BigHoss
Just curious, after a Google Search, I'm still curious what Nuclear Medicine in Canada is all about, what's the scope of practice, what's it like? Pardon my ignorance, I'm just curious...
DocBrown9
It's a subspecialty of radiology. There are a few direct entry spots in Canada (I think programs are 6 or 7 years in length). Think things like PET scans. There's some therapeutics (radioactive iodine ablation of thyroid). If you look up program descriptions on the carms website, you might find some more details. It's relatively small so I don't know if anyone practicing it is actually on this forum. BigHoss
