Retaking a 127 CARS for Western?

Hello, 

I'm not sure if I'm posting this right so I apologize if this ends up in the wrong place. 

I am wondering if its worth it to retake a 127 Cars in a few weeks. I understand for Western the cut-off was 127 last year but there's no guarantee it will stay there this year correct? 

Is it risky to rewrite so close to the first attempt? (all other sections were 128+) Especially pretty much just for Western and Mac? 

Would appreciate any input.
