Just got an interview!

I had a similar problem where one of my references has been at home under self-isolation since August 20th and hasn't been able to submit his letter. Although he is not one of my two required referenc

They are probably swamped and still making sense of how they will be running interviews online.

Does anyone know if admission decisions post interview are made solely based on interview performance going forward, or if our other stats will be taken into account as well? I've heard historically that it used to be only interviews that counted, but their website now says that "Applicants invited to attend the interview will be considered for admission based on a comprehensive assessment of their application and performance at the interview." So it sounds like everything will be taken into account post-interview?

It is possible they look at everything now because the admissions has changed to a more holistic approach. Plus, there has also been a lot of changes this admission cycle so I wouldn't be surprised if they are looking comprehensively even after the interview.

For those of you who did the interviews in October, would anyone like to share how it went? How did you guys feel about it? Did everything go okay? I know the website says half MMI and half SGI, like last year. Was it similar to last year?

I'd appreciate any feedback! :)

(In case anyone's wondering, I haven't heard back from UBC but am just curious)

Actually it would only make sense if they do take everything into account when giving out admissions. Just based on the fact that the interview is on the 21st of NOV but if you're doing the Canadian DAT exam this year, it's actually after the interview and it still counts for this admissions cycle so they should take those DAT marks into account somehow.
