hi @wloogoose ! For non academic assets, just make sure you get a sufficient amount of experience shadowing dentists, volunteering hours, and possibly research if that interests you. Pick things that you enjoy of course! I personally had around 80 shadowing hours, 200 volunteering hours (at 2 places) and did research. I think this might’ve helped me get an interview because UBC seems to care about community service and research! If you’re not sure how to get shadowing hours, just call random offices near you and ask if they take any students for shadowing! Of course spread these experiences out over a while so you’re not overworking yourself doing these things all at once. Also submit your application early if you want a shot at an earlier interview :)
