What time of the day on Nov 1st is the application deadline?

I received an email this morning, see below.

DEADLINE FOR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS IS NOVEMBER 1 @ 11:59 PM

Please ensure that all supporting documents are uploaded to your Minerva checklist and that the Med Admissions Acad Workbook is emailed to us no later than NOVEMBER 1 @ 11:59 pm.

LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION

 

UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS only – PDF format – official transcripts are not required at this time.
(As the admissions office reviews your academic history workbook, there may be additional transcripts added, so please verify that there are no outstanding transcripts). 

 

CASPer scores (CPMD) – If you have added McGill to your distribution list and the results are still not in we will be able to obtain them or verify with CASPer that your name is on the list.  Even if the results are not received by the deadline, your application will not be cancelled.  Note the last possible deadline to take the CASPer was October 22 (English).  If you have not taken the test, your application will be cancelled and is non-refundable.

 

Med Admissions Acad Workbook (MAAW ) ALL applicants (except those applying to our IMG program, see below) must complete and submit their excel workbook via email to workbooks.med@mcgill.ca.  IT MUST BE EMAILED! It is not uploable Please allow a few business days for a receipt day to be shown As long as the workbook is date stamped with November 1, it will be accepted.  https://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/requirements/elements/maaw

 

CV Highlights (CVMD) & List of Verifiers (VERL) – Ensure you are using the templates provided and upload as pdfs. Note: Only enter your McGill ID# on these two documents – your name should not appear (https://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/requirements/elements/cvmd).

 

Proof of Citizenship (POCR)  - ALL applicants applying to the M.D.,C.M. or joint programs are required to submit proof of residency for their required applicant cohort (International, Canadian, or Quebec resident).  https://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/requirements/elements/proof-citizenship-or-residency

 

MCAT scores  if you are required to submit MCAT results (bachelor’s is out of Canada), please ensure that you have released the scores to McGill via the AAMC website.  The scores will be retrieved eventually and even if they are received past the deadline, your application will not be cancelled.  Those who have released the scores to us, and where the MCAT is not mandatory, will not have MCAT added to their checklist.

 

MDCM/PhD applicants only: RSPN form & reference letters. If letters have not been marked as received, please check with referee and letter should be sent by email to supportingdocs.med@mcgill.ca.

 

International Medical Graduates (IMG) – if you are applying to our IMG-2 (Quebec residents only) or IMG-4 program, you do not need to submit the MAAW.  Documents required are MSPR (Dean’s letter), PREP (language proficiency), CASPer, CVMD & List of Verifiers, MCCQE1 from MCC, CMQE (IMG-2 yr only), unofficial transcripts, and POCR.  Please visit for a detailed list https://www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/categories/international-medical-graduates

 

EXTC – if you have selected “yes” for extenuating circumstances at the time of application, please upload your documents in pdf format.  If this was an error, and wish for us to remove EXTC from your application, please send us an email at admissions.med@mcgill.ca

 

The Admissions Office will be closed to the public from November 9 -13 inclusively for the review of Fall 2021 MDCM applications. During that time, we will only respond to urgent email inquiries.
