CenacoloVinciano
Hi everyone! I'm an international student (undergrad in Ontario) who's expecting to apply for med school and for permanent residency (PR) next summer. I was wondering if anyone could offer some insights on how international students who become PR while the application is in progress are treated as applicants and whether they pay domestic or international tuition? Thanks a lot!
bearded frog
Only some schools accept international students. PRs are equivalent to Canadian citizens and pay domestic tuition. Each school might have different requirements and you'll have to contact to see if you can apply pending PR status. If that's the case you would have to be a PR before matriculating and would pay domestic tuition.
