UBC MD Interview Invites/Regrets Thread - 2020/21

I dont understand either. Got my regrets - OOP.

But I have 92.9 % AGPA.

75-100 NAQ percentile score.

My range was right between OOP and IP cutoffs. 

 

Was the competition this year insane??

-Research lab volunteer (4 hours per week)

-Promotional manager for local WHL team (15 hours per week)

-2x research presentations 

-Rural applicant

Can't see what quartile I fell in yet, the website is overwhelmed right now. 

This is my second regret and I am 25 years old

Had a few people I know with the same stats with regrets. OOP competition is insane!

IP too. My NAQ was 75-100 percentile and average 94. MCAT 520 but rejected  52% using inspect element

Does this make sense to anyone? If my NAQ is in the top bracket and so is my GPA, shouldn't I be above the cutoff?

Yeh I have absolutely no idea what’s going on abs how IP and OOP in top brackets of NAQ and AQ are below cutoffs

I feel like maybe we got red flagged? Mine was like that too yet my AQ and NAQ were above average???

Did you get an email? Or just log in and see this? Maybe that’s why you didn’t get an email because the result hasn’t been verified yet?

I think there is some mistake ...I have a high GPA and 75-100 percentile NAQ as well for OOP, but was midway between BCC cutoff and OOP cutoff

Thats crazy. With those stats, I feel you should be close to OOP cutoff.
