I am just barely over the IP cutoff as well. garceyues

ahungrycynic
Confused as well... OOP with 93.4% aGPA and 75-100% NAQ score, but it shows me below the BC applicant cut off.

LMITC
This is insane, how can so many OOP applicants with first rank AQ and NAQ score getting rejected (not just one or two)? greysweater
Does anyone know how to use inspect element to see what the OOP cutoff is? Just got rejected with a 75-100th percentile NAQ. Edit: Very close to the OOP cut off line if that helps.
marker_34
Has anyone had any luck contacting UBC by email or phone ? The line for my result is above the cutoff, but it said R when I checked OAS.
EnigmaticAvocado
Hi Everyone, here is a mini guide on how to use Inspect Elements: 1. Press F12 to open Inspect Elements 2. Find line of code that reads <div id="ctl100_content_main_pnl_tfr"> and press the > arrow on the left-hand side to open the drop down, or use "Pick and Element from the Page" tool on the left-hand most side of the Inspect Elements bar and click the area that has the slider bar. 3. Find the drop down menu within this drop down (line of code starts with <div id="slider" class="ui-slider ... etc.) 4. You will see 5 slider values. The first will be 0, second will be your score out of 100, third will be 53 (IP cut off), fourth will be 63 (OOP cut off), and the last will be 100. Hope you all either a) improved from last year, or b) have found areas to work on your apps. Cheers! wonderous_dreamder, melona123, LMITC and 4 others 6
corgi321
Finally got onto OAS and it says Regrets (OOP) aGPA = 87.02% NAQ = 75-100th percentile
marker_34
I'm very confused. According to inspect element my result is above the 53 cutoff and I'm IP? Agent 47 and Easy
wmj2014
IP rejected I also got 75-100 percentile NAQ, which is weirdly high. My own estimation based on past postings from others is anywhere between 0-50 percentile. Is it possible that UBC made mistakes on this NAQ data entry? justhoping
I haven't even been able to get into the application status tab on OAS for the past hour. I just want to see it at this point lol any idea when it will stop crashing? Also seeing some insane results - stuff isn't adding up based on people getting Rs with their scores ... idk bekind
stressssed
Just wanted to post my stats! IP: Regrets GPA= 80.29% (Don't qualify for aGPA this year) NAQ score= 75th-100th Percentile I had already knew that my GPA was a bit on the lower side so I'm definitely looking forward to that being improved when my first year is dropped! Congratulations to everyone who received and interview!
corgi321
Is there some sort of error with the NAQ reporting? I don't see how EVERYONE who got regrets is 75-100th percentile, not to mention my result bar looks to be way below the IP cutoff (even tho my GPA was around the IP average) so idk what's going on
PeanutButter1
Agreed I bet there’s a mistake. Not everyone can have 75-100 percentile. That’s just odd. Still no email or accessibility to oas on my end. i just want to get in to see my stats but not sure to trust them even if I do get into the OAS somehow. 1234561234 and tqhdhfjjdk

I didn't think I would ever be competitive enough to get into med as I was well below the cutoff when I applied two years ago - for people who got the R this year, I know how much it sucks but honestly, I have had some of the coolest opportunities in these two years, so highly recommend doing something you really want to do while you apply again so you enjoy the process highonhope, Easy and Fast_Layne
dusah
I applied last year and received an NAQ of 25-50th percentile, applied again this year without adding a significant number of ECs (maybe 1/2 short term) and received an NAQ of 75-100%. There must be a mistake lol Easy
