In province residency check

Recommended Posts

Today I got an email asking me that the med school needs to verify my residency because I am not enrolled in 9 CUs this semester.

My situation: I am 2nd year masters student at the U of S (currently data collecting and writing my thesis, no more courses to take). I’ve done my undergrad in Saskatoon and been living in Saskatoon since 2014. I file my taxes in SK as well.

I moved to British Columbia in August 2020 when we found out that school is online and no research is happening in person.

I sent my SK health coverage letter, my pay stub from Saskatoon (working remotely) and my notices of assessment for the past three years.

will I be considered in province?

anyone else receive this email or currently doing their grad studies and living out of Saskatchewan?
