McMaster Interview Invites/Regrets 2021

If anyone is curious, they sent out MD/PhD invites on Jan 3rd last year and did MD on Jan 8th. Just from that alone it looks like MD invites would probably come next week but who knows :p

Yea I am pretty sure that has been the trend every year.

Yup, I think MD invites will probably be out Tuesday or Wednesday or something

Looks like we have to sit tight for a few more days

If it comes out tomorrow, that’s a date consistent with previous years right? Although it seems like Mac doesn’t follow dates by the #, but by the day of the week.

They came out on the 8th last year yes but it seems like they prefer that Tues-Thurs window around the second Wednesday of January

Considering MD/PhD came out today and historically they send out MD ~5 days after, I'm pretty sure they'll be out this coming Tuesday or Wednesday

None of us could possibly know that with any certainty. That being said, its likely this week but could very well be later in January.

I was doing that a few days ago and it was really hurting my productivity, so I played with the settings and now I’ll get an email notification when something new is posted. I recommend you doing the same for the forums you’re following so you you can stay up to date without actually checking the forum

Even though I am not applying (thank god for the acceptance last cycle), many people close to me are. I am very nervous and spamming the refresh button on multiple forums pretty often.  I can't imagine how nerve-wracking it must be for you all.

I believe last year they came out around 9:00am.

In the year before (2019) they came out in the afternoon. Assuming nothing's come out for anyone this morning (hasn't for me), it might be in the afternoon instead.

Some people said that they have come out around 1-2 pm in previous years.

Last year I got Mac's e-mail at 9:02am, and the year before at 1:39pm, so sadly there's no real way to tell. It'll happen when it happens.

Latest I've seen is between 2-3pm in 2018. People were still receiving emails after 3pm that year.

A poster did, on Jan 5 and said he /she would update us if an answer was received, but I assume there was no reply from Mac
