CaRMS2021
Does anyone who has written the CASPer for CaRMS have any insight into the differences between this and the PreMed CASPer?
bearded frog
It's not significantly different, more medical scenarios and less generic scenarios if I recall but its been a few years now so it could have changed.

Its unfortunate that CASPER has been able to infiltrate residency admissions process now too, such a waste of money, resources and time. Ha, yeah it is annoying - I get it though. I mean they don't really have that much to work with in terms of separating out a sea of excellent looking candidates. Not like diagnosis and treatment knowledge but yes to medical ethics knowledge and perhaps knowledge of health care systems (although I think it's now in the US too I don't know if there would be separate tests with specific questions about Canada's health care system)
canada747
How did it change? Are the CASPerfect tests still good prep?
