robclem21
Usually just a CV, and maybe some examples of cases that you worked together and some of the things you demonstrated, learned in each.
Bambi
Back in the day, I did, I wanted the referee to have total information as to my background, my experience, my motivation.
bread
I did... I used it as a cover sheet for my CV/cases seen with my preceptor, just briefly thanking them and briefly explaining why I was choosing to apply to that specialty, along with my photo (more for preceptors I had asked for a letter from during third year, as it’s been a while for some). It felt a bit more personable than just sending my CV/cases. But I don’t think there’s one right answer! Dr. Octavius
CaRMS2021
I did not - I sent CV, a summary of my elective experience (cases we had seen), photo
bearded frog
You can, I think it helps, personally. I had some request it. When applying for other stuff like its common to send your cover letter to your references as well in those scenarios.
