What is UofC's Applicant/Interview %?

Basically, what % of applicants from Alberta get an interview to UofC?

Based off of the stats from last year, 456 Albertans were offered interview from 1240 completed Albertan applications, which is about 37% interview rate

This will likely be around 30% this year due to guaranteed interviews + way more applicants.

damn 37% interview rate is absurd. Anyone know what post-interview acceptance rates are?

About 40% after the entire waitlist is cleared

so this year likely 30% will get interview and of that 40% will get in (either directly or from WL) = 12% acceptance rate

Are you sure there will be less spots? What if they just plan to add those from last year to the normal number of interview spots? So if they usually interview 200 people, its now 200 + x, where x represents the applicants from last cycle. If that's the case, it would definitely lower your chances of getting accepted into the program, but your chance of interviewing would be the same.

Last year they said that there will be the same number of interview spots which means less chances of getting an interview and also lower chances of admission, compounded by record-breaking number of apps this year. Maybe things are changed now, but this is what was said on the blog last year I think
