Best Premed programs with easier workloads

Recommended Posts

Canada doesn't really have the traditional "premed" undergrad degree. The best undergrad is the one that you personally could get the best GPA in, and its a bonus if it will help you on the MCAT. Many places don't have prereqs anymore but some do so also consider that. So if you are a computer whiz you can totally take comp sci, if you will get that 4.0 in creative writing or Asian history go for it. If you love science and research then do that biochemistry degree with a thesis project.

That being said there are some programs that are popular tracks for medical school, McMaster health sciences is classically seen as a medical school feeder program for instance, and its pretty compeditive, but there are similar ones elsewhere.
