Hi,

The admissions blog states the stations are 10 minutes each with 3 minute transition between stations. Does that mean the time to read and contemplate the prompt is part of the 10 minutes and separate from the 3 minutes? Or are the 3 minutes for the prompt?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Hi! Hopefully we can get this question answered tomorrow at the MMI Zoom session.

But from my interpretation of the information booklet sent out on Monday, it seems like we will be following the format of 2 minutes to read and 8 minutes to answer. However, they have allotted an extra 2 minutes for answering and 1 minute for transition incase there are technical difficulties (ex. the site crashes and you have to sign back in). This extra time will ensure things run smoothly even when crashes happen, if that makes sense.

Best of luck to you!

Was this booklet only sent to people who have interviews this weekend? Mine is on the 27th and I haven’t received any information yet.

I'm interviewing this Sunday. I have uploaded my photo ID on UCAN. The main interview page still just says "congratulations on being offered an interview" and 2 lines of text below that (I've checked the acknowledgment box). There is no box labeled "instructions" like what's shown in the screenshot in the interview prep guide. Is this the same for everyone else who is interviewing Sunday? How about those interviewing Saturday - has this appeared for you yet? I'm assuming it appears sometime shortly before the interview is scheduled to begin, but wanted to check that assumption in case it's just a glitch for me. Thanks!

It looks the same for me. I dont think it will show up until right before the interview.

If helpful, wanted to let everyone know that the "Video Interview" tab showed up in my UCAN early on the morning of my interview day.

Yes (sorry for my late reply I'm new on here!). I believe you will receive it the Monday or Tuesday before, as that's when I received mine when I interviewed on the first weekend!

Hey! Now that you've done your interview, I was wondering if it was actually 2 minutes to read and 8 to answer or 3 minutes to read and 10 to answer?

Hi. I haven't done the interview yet but according to the information they sent out, it will be 3 minute to read and 10 to answer.
