Thought I would start a thread for acceptance, waitlist and rejection time stamps and details since the McGill target response day is March 25th! It's coming in hot!

OOF I can't wait for it to be over :(

TIME STAMP: 10:36 AM

Result: Waitlist (#22)

MCAT: 518 (130/128/132/128)

Feeling About MMI (please be mindful of NDA): I feel alright but definitely could have done better on a few stations, 1 station for me was bad, 1 good station, 4 average-above average. 6 minutes was not enough time. Tried to convey my strongest characteristics and what makes me me. Hope it works out but who knows what they were looking for.

Year: Finished UG in 2020

IP/OOP/International: IP

Comments: Kinda shocked. Does anyone know how much the waitlist moves?

TIME STAMP: 13:00

Result: Waitlisted (Very High, Might as well be a hard rejection)

MCAT: not submitted

Feeling About MMI (please be mindful of NDA): I got annihilated. Stuttered, rambled, got confused at majority of stations. RIP 100% MMI weight.

Year: Final Year Undergrad (3 Year Bachelors, + extra year part-time to finish PRE-REQ's during Covid)

IP/OOP/International: IP

GPA: 4.0

First time applying and only to this school. Didn't expect to get this far and honestly am not disappointed whatsoever. Congrats everyone!

TIME STAMP: n/a

Result: n/a

MCAT: 499, I submitted it anyway since McGill only looks at it if it boosts your application

Feeling About MMI (please be mindful of NDA): actually felt pretty good about it! I did it last year too so I guess that helped me prepare a lot.

Year: first year graduate student in health science, tech and policy at Carleton.

IP/OOP/International: IP

Comments: I probably put in 40+ hours of interview practice and prep, I pestered any friend that would practice and also practiced with a group of other med students on fb. Best of luck to everyone, we all deserve to get in, it is often a lottery at this point in the game, so if you don't make it, try not to be too hard on yourself. At least that's what I'll be telling myself

Edit un peu plus tard!

TIME STAMP: Vers 15h

Result:  Waitlist (entre 50-60)

MCAT: Na

Feeling About MMI (please be mindful of NDA): Selon moi, 2 stations ont moins bien été, 1 station était bien, et 3 stations étaient average. J'ai trouvé ça dommage qu'il y en avait aussi peu...Première entrevue ever! toute un challenge! C'était très "fair" selon moi...mais je pense que j'ai moins bien démontré mes points fort...le stress maybe? (probable)

Year: 2ième année de maîtrise en microbiologie

IP/OOP/International: IP

Comments: Somme toute je suis contente car c'était la première fois que j'avais une entrevue. J'imagine que j'ai eu une moins bonne approche? Félicitation à tous les admis :)!

Feeling About MMI: Also terrible. Time went by so fast and I feel like I didn't show my best self.  I expect a rejection letter . 2 stations were horrible (couldn't contain my stress as well as I do most of the time), only 1 station that i feel that I ace, and the rest really average. Also

Year: B.Sc. medical biology + first year Pharm.D

IP/OOP/International: IP

GPA:  3.98

(will edit this thursday)

Feeling About MMI (please be mindful of NDA): I actually had a lot of fun doing the MMI’s. I was disappointed that they were cancelled for francophone universities, because I would’ve liked to do it again. Of course, there were some stations where I feel I could’ve done better. I do feel it went well overall.

Year: 2nd year MSc (BSc in biomedical sciences!

IP/OOP/International: IP

Comments: GPA was 3.87 but I have a pretty decent CV & I think it helped me.

Hey, je suis étudiante collégiale et je voulais savoir si le nombre total de stations pour vous était de 6? Combien de temps ont-elle duré au total?

Bonne chance j'espère que vous serez accepté!

Anyone else absolutely stressed out with this last day wait?

I'm only truly overwhelmingly stressed about the possibility of getting an uncertain Waitlist. I'll be content with either a flat out R or A, anything in between and I'm stuck in limbo in my mistake of a semester.
