veritas7777
Hi all, I've been reading some threads in this forum and I'm still super confused. I'm a non-trad who just finished my BA in International Relations (I took 0 science courses) outside Canada. My cumulative GPA is 3.67 (final year 4.0)-- but after WES evaluations I think it'll be around 3.9. I'm thinking to do 2nd UG to fulfill pre-reqs, also since my 1st degree is an international one and was in non-hard sciences. Also to get me ready for MCAT. I am 22 years old so my goal is to get to med school as early as possible- I definitely don't want to waste any more years than I already have. My question is: 1. Which second UG should I go consider? do schools have a separate second UG program or do you just sign up through the normal undergraduate route? I've seen York, Ryerson, Athabasca U mentioned a lot. Are there any particular reasons why? Can I just enroll for a couple of semesters and drop out? 2. What is the shortest possible time I can finish my 2nd UG? I've seen people mentioning 2 year programs but I'm confused- are those for people who wanted to improve GPA only so they could graduate earlier? Is there any possibility I can take only one year of 2nd UG? I'll appreciate any help. Thanks!
