Successful OOPs - Interview Invites?

Recommended Posts

  • memes4med changed the title to Successful OOPs - Interview Invites?

It is a full File review - GPA / MCAT > 512 (127 or 128 each section).

For OOP - They prefer applicants who have held 2 PT jobs or a FT job while enrolled in school.

Make sure you have stellar references. And long term volunteering positions.

Are we 100% sure that 126 in any non-CARS section gets screened out for OOP? Admissions process seems a bit different this year with them taking more time to review our applications...

Not sure if you're still curious about this @memes4med, but I completed interviews this cycle (a few weeks ago now) and my stats definitely don't meet these cut offs. I'm OOP and my GPA is 81%, and while my CARS was above 127, I had a 123 chem/phys.

I don't feel like my chances of acceptance are very high, but just wanted to encourage you to apply if you're considering it as it looks like they might not be using hard cut offs anymore!
