3.55 wGPA with Masters

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if it is worth applying with a 3.55 wGPA from undergraduate studies. I have completed one year of masters and am entering my second year of masters looking to apply this year. On the Queen’s Med website, it says that GPA slightly below the undergraduate cut off will be considered if you’re a graduate applicant. I see on some threads here that undergrad students with high 3.6 got in this year so I just want some input. Thank you!

Is Queen's your first choice? If you don't mind other schools, it might be worth looking into how each school's criteria for admission are. Some schools put more weight on GPA, some more weight on personal experiences (like U of T, I believe, correct me if I'm wrong). So, if you want your best chance in getting into any medical school, it might be worth your time to find the school whose requirements best suit you. :) Best of luck!
