thesunwillriseagain
Hi! I just graduated from an MPH program in Ontario and my undergrad cGPA is 3.61, UofT wGPA is 3.77. I have 4 first author publications (and 1 3rd author), lots of poster and oral conference presentations. Several leadership and advocacy roles at nonprofits and community organizations, tutoring jobs, published a book. I haven't written the MCAT yet but I am scoring low on CARS based on initial assessments. I am currently working as a research coordinator but would like to give medicine one more shot- my low GPA is the only thing making me unsure/hesitant. What Canadian med schools would you apply to if you were me? (If you think it's worth applying to any) Thanks in advance!
bearded frog
Impossible to say without school specific weighted GPAs, or MCAT.
premed72
As what bearded frog said, give us your yearly GPA breakdown and if you were a full course load in each of those years.
