LMCC Part 1 Preparation

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I recognize that this has been talked about a few times on these forums, but I was wondering in more recent years if anyone could comment on preparation for the LMCC 1. In particular, because of some personal circumstances, I managed to push my date to the end of the current cycle (which ends June 16) but I have not had a whole lot of time to prep (specifically with reading much of TO notes). I completed two practice exams on the MCC website and scored a 70  - do people generally find the real exam to be comparable in difficulty, and if I am getting these scores, would one be able to pass with just over a week left to study material? If it is at all relevant, I am a CMG. I have read before that it is best to focus on the OB, peds, and PHELO topics, but not sure I will cover everything in the time I have left.

Hopefully this topic isn't too repetitive, but any advice much appreciated.

Thanks!
