Cancelling elective

Hello, 

I have an elective in Univeristy of Toronor next month and for family reasons I have to cancel it. Anywone went through this? How cancelling and elective 1 week before will affect you?

Not sure about your home university (since away electives are not happening at the moment I'm assuming you're at UoT?), but at McGill they made it clear that cancelling less than 4 weeks before an elective is a direct profesionnalism red flag. I suggest you look at your school's elective policies first, and then contact the person in charge of electives at your school to see if you can get an approval.
