elipg
Hi, I don't know if anyone has any information on this topic. I am a Canadian student doing medical school in France. I'm entering my final year (6th year) in September. Unfortunately, we'll only get our diplomas in September 2022, so I know already that I'll have to wait one more year to apply for residency in Quebec (so during my first year of residency in France). There isn't much information online about how to apply to the matching in Quebec with CaRMS as a French medical student. It is to my understanding that the ARM between France and Quebec facilitates things. I contacted le Collège des médecins du Québec and they told me that I didn't have to pass the EACMC-I + ECOS-CNE since I am a Canadian national, which I find strange considering that it is written no where on the CaRMS's websites for IMG's that I do not have to write this exam. Does anyone have an atypical background like me that would like to answer some of my questions ? Thank you.
