Is short-term volunteering with many hours given as much credit as long-term volunteering with the same number of hours?

Lets say I volunteered at a homeless shelter for 2 years for a total of 300 hours. 

And for a local Food Bank, I volunteered 300 hours for 1 year.

Let's also assume that both positions involve a similar kind of work (outreach vs distribution worker)

Considering that 1 year is still a reasonable length of commitment,

and since I would have dedicated lengthier hours into the second activity within a shorter period of time,

do you think the adcoms will give the two activities equal credit?

I would say the activity you did for two years is worth more than the one you did for one year, even if it is the same amount of hours. But i don't think it makes much of a difference, I would just try to write both activities on your application if you have space!
