6god
I am thinking of removing some hobbies to make space for other activities. However, I am wondering if it would negatively impact my application if I have no hobbies in the NAQ section?
Dr. Monkey
As stated in previous blog posts the verifiers are not out to find ways to dock you points on things. The most important thing is that you spread the goods, have your entries reflect who you are and prioritize your longest commitments. If that eliminates your hobbies then so be it. They aren't there to assume things about you and will not assume you have zero hobbies.
frenchpress
You don’t have to include hobbies. But I wouldn’t necessarily drop them just because they’re hobbies. Think about length of commitment to an activity, demonstration of being well rounded, etc. in choosing what to include - for example, a one month volunteer job of a few hours may not add as much as a several year commitment to playing an instrument.
